EmailMpls. Moves Forward With Plan to Reopen Nicollet Ave at Lake St
Minneapolis announced Tuesday it's moving forward with a plan to reopen a major street that's been blocked for decades.
Right now Nicollet Avenue in south Minneapolis dead ends between 29th Street and Lake Street. That's where a kmart currently stands, but the city wants to reconnect Nicollet Avenue.
The mayor and city council directed several city departments to move the project forward.
