Katherine Ann Gorman Chosen Miss Wisconsin 2012

Twenty-three-year-old Katherine Ann Gorman of Onalaska has captured the Miss Wisconsin 2012 crown.
    
The Miss Wisconsin Pageant said Gorman, who entered as Miss La Crosse/Oktoberfest, bested 22 other women for the title at Oshkosh West High School's Civil Auditorium. She was crowned Saturday night by Miss Wisconsin 2011, Raeanna Mary Johnson of Holmen.
    
Gorman is a 2012 elementary art education graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
    
First through fourth runners-up were, respectively: Kathryn Marie Williams, 23, of Wisconsin Rapids;  Elizabeth Anne Kramer, 22, of Holmen; Raquel Faye Bruening, 20, of New Berlin and 24-year-old Desiree Sue Geffers, 24, of Oshkosh.
    
Sixteen-year-old Madeline Morgan, a classical pianist from Oregon, was named Miss Wisconsin Outstanding Teen 2012.
    
This was the 50th year anniversary of the state pageant being held in Oshkosh.
