Video: Toby Gardenhire (Ron's son) is now a College Coach

Toby Gardenhire, the son of Ron Gardenhire, had a decision to make last winter: find a different organization and continue his playing career or take a job as Wisconsin Stout's head baseball coach. He chose the latter.

Toby was a minor league free agent, told by the Twins they didn't want to re-sign him. While he likely could've gone to spring training with a different team, there were no guarantees like Stout. So he retired at 29-years-old and is now a head coach in college.
