| INTERNET INSITE: Measure yourself against other anglers |
| |
Do you have an interesting Web site you'd like to see featured on Internet InSITE? Email Web Manager Justin Piehowski, jpiehowski@kstp.com. Watch Internet InSITE each weekday morning at 5:30 and 6:30 on 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS MORNING.
Heading to the lake this weekend? Well, before you go, log onto your computer and enter the world's first online fishing tournament and see how your catch measures up to anglers around North America.
The site is called bountyfishing.com and they want to see pictures of your big catch. The site even has a leaderboard so you can track your progress in the weekly tournaments in nine different categories. The site uses your submitted photos fish and grades them by length only.
The contest could be a lot of fun, but it's a little tricky to enter, the first thing you'll want to do is watch the interactive demonstration on the how this whole thing works (it's really slick).

Then, just read the rules and enter at this link:

Now, as far as I can tell, there's only one Minnesotan on the leaderboard so far. If you enter a tournament, please email me and I'll track your progress on KSTP.com .
Even if you don't want to enter the contest, you can start a fish blog and photo album on the site to show off your own catches, or you can just browse around the site to see what other people are catching.
