Broadway revival of ’Oleanna’ to close Jan. 3
(AP) NEW YORK - The Broadway revival of David Mamet’s "Oleanna" is folding after a 97-performance run.
Producer Jeffrey Finn says the production, which stars Bill Pullman and Julia Stiles, will close Jan. 3 at the Golden Theatre. The play opened in New York on Oct. 11 after a successful summer engagement at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.
"Oleanna" concerns a power struggle between a university professor, portrayed by Pullman, and a female student, the role played by Stiles.
