Biggest Game of the Season So Far.

This is where the rubber meets the road.  The Gophers host the Wisconsin Badgers this weekend in a game that should be very close.  I will be shocked if one team wins this game by more than three points.  Yes, Wisconsin is undefeated, but this will be their first road game of the year.  Last week, the Gophers were a little scary at times against an inferior Northwestern team.  But they did win by eleven, the same margin I had predicted. I look for the home field advantage to swing this Saturday's game Minnesota's way as well, 23-20.

On to the Vikings.  Either San Francisco is much better than we thought, or the Vikings aren't as good as their talent indicates.  That game should not have been so close last Sunday.  We all know how lucky the Vikings are to be 3-0...which works against the Purple going into the Monday night showdown against Brett Farve's old team.  My feeling is that the Vikings think they got away with one last week, which they did.  Packers I believe will have more motivation.  The Vikings are 3 1/2 point favorites.  It will be closer...Vikings 24 Pack 23.
