Minneapolis/Saint Paul, MN – “Watch It Local” only on 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS! The Minnesota Vikings, led by Brett Favre, take on their new quarterback’s old team the Green Bay Packers. It’s the most anticipated game of the season on Monday, October 5, 2009.  Game time is at 7:30 p.m. on 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS, Channel 5.

Before the big match up, 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS will air a special “Vikings SportsWrap” hosted by Phil Aldridge and John Hanson at 7 p.m.  In the show Favre shares his thoughts on his All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson, Jared Allen reveals his most prized possession, and Anne Hutchinson has a peek into the trash talking that goes on each week between players.
