JOB TITLE: Graphic Designer

COMPANY: KSTC-TV, Advertising/Promotion

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

STATUS: Full Time, Hourly

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two or four year degree in Design/Art/Graphics preferred but not required; a minimum of one year design experience
• Experience using a variety of design platforms including: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash, and Dreamweaver
• Apple Final Cut Pro, Chyron Duet/Lyric, and Apple Motion experience desired
• Ability to work on Mac and PC's. HTML experience required
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal to interact with staff and the general public
• Must express initiative, sound judgment, flexibility and adaptability
• Must be highly organized self-started and have strong time management skills

DUTIES:

• Create on-air graphics and animations to support live broadcast, promotions, and commercial production
• Create set elements and backdrops for broadcast
• Create print materials for out-of home advertising, including but not limited to magazine ads, billboards, and vehicle wraps
• Work with on-air equipment (Dekocast) to create promos to go over programming
• Work with HBI-IS development team to create tools for managing and creation of web content for kstc45.com
• Work with Sales department to create and develop sales tools
