Mayo: Keeping Athletes Safe in Hot Weather

Sometimes the heat can be too much. Nationwide, six student athletes have died on the field due to the hot weather last year.

Four were in high school, while the other two were in college. Experts say heat-related deaths are rare, but getting sick from the temperatures isn't.

Doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester offer tips on how to keep young athletes safe when the mercury rises.
