SAWKAR: Ronald McDonald House

There are some charitable causes you jump at the chance to help. I always feel that way when someone mentions children. On Tuesday, Tom Hauser and I took part in an event associated with the Ronald McDonald House. We got to serve some of the families staying in town at the local house. It was a fun afternoon at the Dinkytown McDonald's and my kids enjoyed helping serve families and meet Ronald McDonald. The event also included a fun burger taste test contest with some area high school football players. It was quite entertaining.

Whenever you get the chance, be sure to contribute to the Ronald McDonald House. The place is a lifesaver for families who are in town with children needing extended medical treatment. They deserve a nice, comfortable place to stay.
